Sealing of Records or Expunctions
Once your case is dismissed, it is so important to get your record expunged if you are eligible. The reason this is so important is because the public (including potential employers) will still be able to see the fact that you were arrested and charged with a crime, but that it was subsequently dismissed. The unfortunate thing for you, is that you will always have to explain why you were charged and why the case was dismissed. Why not going to an interview with a clean slate? If you have your record expunged, the law allows you to completely deny the incident all together. This means that once your record is expunged, the public (and future employers) will not be able to see the fact that you were arrested and charged with a crime. More importantly, you can deny that you were ever arrested or charged at all! What a deal!
